Admission to Hospice and Levels of Care
In order to receive hospice care, it is necessary that a physician certifies that the illness is terminal and life expectancy should be about 6 months if the disease follows its normal course or as long as needed.

Who pays for Hospice, Medications, Medical Supplies and Medical Equipment?
Who pays for Hospice:
- Medicare/Medi-Cal (for eligible patient)
- Insurance/HMO’s
- Maintenance as a benefit)
- Private Pay
Who Pays for Medication/Supplies:
- We provide all medications, equipment and supplies related to our patient’s primary diagnosis in order to manage pain and create a comfortable living space.

- Patients’ homes
- Nursing homes
- Assisted-living communities
- Long-term care and residential care facilities for the elderly
