The drive to provide great care in the most humane and ethical way possible began with my journey.

My grandfather passed at the age of 90-years old, in the old country of Armenia.

He had a sharp mind, and witty tongue, and was alert until his last days. The only issue was his body, his health was declining.

When he went to the doctor for the last time, the doctor simply refused to see him. My grandfather overheard the doctor saying to my aunt that he was not going to “waste his time on seeing a 90 years old man.”

My grandfather was so overwhelmed, it was as if he had given up hope on life. He invited the family for the very last time and lived only 11 days after that last dinner.

After witnessing this, I realized that this was what I wanted to do. I decided that I would make it my goal to provide great care, compassion and comfort to people who need it, no matter how advanced their illness or age.

That was the reason I decide to start a hospice care agency together with my family members who share my inspiration.
